Clashes erupted between two groups in the Harijan Basti area on Belilious Road, Howrah, on Holi night, leading to large-scale stone pelting and chaos. Bricks and bottles were hurled as tensions escalated, prompting police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) deployment. The unrest reportedly began over an altercation and quickly intensified, causing panic among residents. At least 10 people were arrested in connection with the violence. No casualties have been reported so far. Security has been tightened in the area to prevent further incidents, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause and identify those responsible.
